Motorcyclist Injured in Traffic Collision on 5 Freeway at Highway 43 in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (June 20, 2022) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a traffic collision that happened Sunday morning in Bakersfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 10:44 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway at Highway 43.
A motorcycle slammed into the back of a gray Ford Mustang for unknown reasons.

First responders found all parties involved, the motorcycle and the car, in the center divider.
The motorcyclist sustained what appeared to be minor injuries, and an ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.
The Mustang driver and his passengers were not hurt.
CHP is investigating the collision.
