Los Angeles, CA – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle on Interstate 405 in Los Angeles Thursday morning.
CHP officials said the crash happened at about 8:33 a.m. on southbound I-405 at National Boulevard.
Investigators said a motorcycle and a white BMW were involved in the crash. The wreckage was blocking the HOV lane of the freeway.
According to the CHP, one person suffered major injuries in the collision.
The HOV lane and No. 1 lane were shut down a SigAlert was issued for one hour.
The incident is under investigation.
