Motorcyclist Killed in Prather Motorcycle Accident on Highway 168 near Little Sandy Road

Prather, California (July 20, 2022) – A motorcycle rider died following a collision involving a vehicle near Prather on Wednesday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol officials.
The incident occurred on Highway 168, west of Little Sandy Road at around 7:30 a.m.
According to the CHP, a 43-year-old from Auberry was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 168 when they collided with the back of a westbound Toyota that had stopped to make a left turn.
The impact ejected the motorcyclist into the eastbound side, where they were hit by a trailer that was being pulled by a Chevrolet.
The motorcyclist, whose name was not immediately released, was killed in the accident.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
