6 People Injured in Rimforest Car Accident on Highway 18
Rimforest, California (April 18, 2022) – Several people were hurt in a two-vehicle collision that trapped some parties in Rimforest Sunday afternoon.
According to a local news source, the vehicles sustained major damage in the collision that was reported at around 1:03 p.m. April 17, on Highway 18 between Pine Avenue and Lake Gregory Drive.
Emergency crews immediately responded to the site of the collision and extricated two trapped parties.

The two were then transported to Loma Linda hospital for treatment of critical injuries.
Two other parties were taken to Arrowhead Regional while another two were transported to Saint Bernardines.
Authorities closed Highway 18 for nearly two hours for the investigation.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
