1 Seriously Injured in Ripon Car Crash at East River Road and Wagner Avenue
Ripon, California (January 20, 2022) – At least one person sustained serious injuries following a head-on collision at an intersection in Ripon on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 7:28 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, at the intersection of East River Road and Wagner Avenue.
CHP said a garbage truck collided head-on with a silver Kia sedan under unclear circumstances at the intersection.
Major Injury 2-Vehicle Crash in Ripon
One person, whose name was not immediately disclosed, sustained major injuries and was taken to a hospital.
The area of River Road and Wagner Avenue was closed due to the crash, which remains under investigation.
