1 Hospitalized after Riverside Car Crash at Iowa Avenue and Villa Street
Riverside, California (April 21, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon at an intersection in Riverside, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported at around 3:19 p.m. at Iowa Avenue and Villa Street.
A red Ford pickup truck and a blue Toyota Corolla were involved in the accident. The vehicles were blocking traffic lanes on Iowa Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person who complained of pain to the hospital.
Authorities did not immediately determine the cause of the collision, but they are investigating.
