1 Hospitalized with Serious Injuries in Riverside Car Crash on 215 Freeway at Box Springs Road
Riverside, California (October 26, 2021) – One person sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Monday night on a freeway in Riverside.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 215 Freeway crash occurred at around 9:08 p.m. at Box Springs Road.
A gray Chevrolet Tahoe collided with another vehicle under unclear circumstances. The Tahoe was blocking the HOV lane after the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help one person who sustained major injuries. The victim was taken to Riverside Community Hospital with a right ankle injury.
CHP officers are investigating to establish the factors contributing to the accident.
