Man, Woman Killed in Riverside Crash on 215 Freeway near Washington Street Exit
Riverside, California (March 15, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning wrong-way crash that killed a man and a woman in Riverside.
The crash occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on the northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway near the Washington Street exit.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Honda Civic, operated by a woman, was traveling in the wrong direction when it crashed into a gray Ford Fusion, driven by a man.

Sadly, both drivers, the man and the woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage due to the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
