Riverside County Accident on Interstate 215 Sends Motorcyclist to Hospital
Riverside County, California (December 5, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized in a collision with a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Riverside County, the California Highway Patrol said.
The minor injury motorcycle crash occurred at about 4:45 p.m. on Interstate 215 (Escondido Freeway) near Van Buren Boulevard in March Air Reserve Base.
As per the CHP dispatch, a gray SUV reportedly crashed with a motorcycle on the southbound side of the highway under unclear circumstances.

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike and sustained minor injuries. The unidentified victim was rushed to a local hospital for medication.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.

- Speeding – Riding at high speeds reduces the rider's ability to slow or stop safely in case of a hazard or slowed or stopped traffic. The rider ends up crashing into other cars or losing control of the motorcycle after applying emergency brakes.
