, California (September 12, 2021) – The Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau has identified the motorcyclist who died early Saturday morning following a traffic collision in Chino as Robert Max Deleon Sr. of .

The deadly crash happened at around 12:45 a.m. Saturday, September 11, on the , just west of Benson Avenue.

Authorities said an unknown car collided with a motorcycle driven by Deleon.

Due to the impact, Deleon was thrown off the bike and landed in the middle lanes of the freeway.

Motorcyclist Killed in 60 Freeway Crash in Chino Identified

Deleon was declared dead at the scene at around 12:57 a.m.

Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 lanes.

CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the accident. Anyone with information or who witnessed the crash is asked to call the California Highway Patrol.
