Mousseaux was transported to Central Washington Hospital for treatment

Malott, WA. – A 25-year-old bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Malott early Thursday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 2:41 a.m. on State Route 97 near milepost 284.
Robert B. Mousseaux was riding a bicycle northbound near the fog line when he was struck by a southbound Isuzu NPR box truck that was attempting to pass another vehicle.
Mousseaux was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was transported to Central Washington Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the truck, 75-year-old Billy D. Allstot of Timberlane, was not injured.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
