Robert Verner Jr. ID'd as Victim of Barstow Fatal Car Collision on W. Main Street near State Route 58
Barstow, California (October 16, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's Bureau has identified the driver who died last week on Saturday evening following a traffic collision in Barstow as Robert Verner Jr., 48, of Barstow.
The deadly crash happened at about 6:21 p.m. Saturday, October 9, on W. Main Street near State Route 58.
Authorities said Verner was heading westbound on W. Main Street towards State Route 58 when his vehicle collided with a Dodge Caravan.
Driver Killed in Barstow Collision Identified
Verner was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The crash remains under investigation by the Barstow police.
