Rodrigo Resendez Among 2 Killed in Fontana Crash on Citrus and Los Cedros Avenues
Fontana, California (April 10, 2022) – Rodrigo Resendez, 53, of Fontana, was among two people killed in a crash that took place in Fontana on Thursday morning, according to authorities.
The wreck happened at Citrus Avenue and Los Cedros Avenue at around 1:47 a.m. April 7.
Fontana police said a Honda making a turn onto Los Cedros from Citrus Avenue was hit by a Chevy truck heading south on Citrus Avenue.

Resendez was an occupant of the Honda. He was taken to Kaiser Foundation Hospital Fontana, where he was pronounced deceased.
Another passenger in the Honda, Shannon Flores, 51, of San Bernardino, died at the scene of the accident.
Police arrested the driver of the Honda on DUI charges. The driver was booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
