, CA. – Roger Norris, 59, of , has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in a collision on Sunday evening in Rialto.

The collision happened around 5:32 p.m. in the 200 block of West Valley Boulevard, near Avenue, according to the Rialto Police Department.

48-year-old Monica Granger, of Riverside, was driving a white Toyota Highlander westbound on West Valley Road when she drove across the painted median and collided head-on with a motorcycle operated by Norris.

The rider suffered major injuries and was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he later died.

Granger was not injured and was arrested on suspicion of murder and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence.
