Ryan Grizzard Killed in Somis Motorcycle Crash on 6971 Highway 118
Somis, California (November 19, 2021) – A motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car in Somis on Wednesday morning has been identified as 56-year-old Ryan Grizzard, of Camarillo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 6:30 a.m. on November 17, in the 6971 block of Highway 118, also known as East Los Angeles Avenue, just in front of the plant nursery.
Ryan was riding a blue 2005 Harley-Davidson westbound on Highway 118 when he collided with a Ford hatchback sedan that was making a left-hand turn onto a private driveway.

First responders arrived at the scene shortly after the crash and administered CPR to the injured rider. Despite the efforts, Ryan succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Ford was unhurt. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Caltrans responded to the scene and closed the highway as investigators worked the scene.
