1 Hospitalized after Sacramento Car Collision on Highway 99 near Mack Road On-Ramp

Sacramento, California (October 30, 2021) – An early Friday morning car crash on Highway 99 in Sacramento sent one person to the hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident at around 1:20 a.m. October 29, in the northbound lanes of the highway near the Mack Road on-ramp.
A gold pickup truck and a white Lexus SUV collided, blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person was transported from the crash scene to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center by Cosumnes Fire Department Med 74 ambulance for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
