1 Hospitalized with Serious Injuries after Sacramento Crash on Highway 51 near J Street
Sacramento, California (December 17, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday morning in Sacramento, as per the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 10:32 a.m. on southbound Highway 51, near J Street.
The crash involved a silver Toyota sedan and a gray sedan. Smoke was coming from the gray sedan's engine after the accident.
One person passed out inside their vehicle.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene and transported one seriously injured person to Sutter Medical Center with CPR in progress.
No other details were given.
CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
