Rider Hospitalized after Sacramento Bicycle Crash on Fruitridge Road and Hedge Avenue
Sacramento, California (February 3, 2022) – A bicyclist was hurt after colliding with a car Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 4:20 p.m. on Fruitridge Road at Hedge Avenue, just in front of Sierra Enterprises Elementary.
The bicyclist was hit by a car of unknown description under unclear circumstances.
The rider suffered minor injuries and was transported by a Sacramento Fire Department ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
