1 Injured in Sacramento Crash at Gerber Road and Bar Du Lane
Sacramento, California (October 1, 2021) – One person was injured Thursday morning in a collision involving a school bus at an intersection in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Just after 7:25 a.m. Thursday, September 30, authorities responded to the area of Gerber Road and Bar Du Lane to investigate a report of a traffic crash.
CHP said the school bus and a red Toyota Tundra collided at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
The Toyota Tundra had its airbags deployed.

The male driver of the Toyota was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency responders. The victim was then transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. His name and condition at this time remain unknown.
Details regarding the driver of the school bus and the passengers were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
