At Least One Person Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Car Crash on Hazel Avenue near Gold Country Boulevard

Sacramento County, California (December 30, 2021) – At least one person was seriously injured Wednesday night in a traffic collision in Sacramento County, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which involved several vehicles, happened just before 8:30 p.m. on December 29 on the northbound side of Hazel Avenue near Gold Country Boulevard.
Two of the vehicles were described as a white pickup truck and a maroon Lexus. One vehicle reportedly crossed over the median and collided head-on with another vehicle near Highway 50.
Due to the impact of the collision, two vehicles sustained front-end damage.
Major Injury Crash in Sacramento County
Authorities said one patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was transported to a hospital with major injuries. Their current condition remained unknown.
The northbound Hazel Avenue was closed following the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
