Pedestrian Killed in Salinas Crash at East Alisal and Wood Streets
Salinas, California (August 28, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle in Salinas on Saturday, according to Salinas police.
The collision occurred near East Alisal and Wood Streets.
Police said a driver hit a pedestrian in the area for unknown reasons.

A second driver collided with a patrol vehicle while the police were investigating the fatal accident.
The driver who hit the pedestrian and the second driver were both arrested on suspicion of DUI.
