1 Seriously Hurt in Salinas Accident on Highway 101 near Sanborn Road
Salinas, California (April 28, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Salinas on Wednesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Four vehicles were involved in the wreck that happened on southbound Highway 101, just north of Sanborn Road, at around 6 p.m. on April 27.
A white Nissan sedan, a red truck, and a black Honda Accord were among the involved vehicles.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped those involved in the accident.
One person was hospitalized with major injuries.
Authorities shut down the southbound lanes of the highway as crews worked at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
