Minor Injuries Suffered in Salinas Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 101 at Spence Road
Salinas, California (August 7, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a semi-truck collision that happened Friday afternoon on Highway 101 in San Jose.
The accident was reported at about 4:25 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 at Spence Road.
A red Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a semi-truck under unclear circumstances. The semi was partially blocking the roadway. A signpost and a pole were also knocked down.
Responding emergency crews said only minor injuries were sustained in the wreck. An ambulance was dispatched to provide medical aid.
CHP is investigating the incident.
