1 Injured in San Clemente Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Basilone Road
San Clemente, California (September 22, 2021) – One person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that occurred in San Clemente on Wednesday morning.
The 5 a.m. collision occurred on Interstate 5 Freeway near Basilone Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A car is reported to have crashed into the rear of a truck for unknown reasons. The car became wedged underneath the truck after the collision.
The CHP said one person sustained major injuries in the accident.
