Passenger Hospitalized after San Diego Crash on Interstate 5 near Sea World Drive

San Diego, California (November 5, 2021) – A passenger was hospitalized following a Monday afternoon car crash in San Diego, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at around 4:25 p.m. Monday, November 1, on southbound Interstate 5 near Sea World Drive.
As per the CHP report, a red BMW sedan collided with possibly a silver Toyota Yaris in the southbound lane of the interstate near Tecolete Creek.

A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to the Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with minor injuries.
The southbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Sea World Drive were closed following the wreck.
