, California (September 22, 2021) – A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a traffic collision involving four vehicles in San Diego, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.

The multi-car wreck occurred at around 5:47 a.m. on Interstate at the connector to State .

As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist collided with a vehicle on the northbound side of the Interstate 5 Freeway.

Following the collision, the motorcycle became trapped underneath the car. Three other vehicles may have also been involved in the crash.

Bystanders were unable to lift the vehicle off the motorcyclist. Firefighters along with paramedics and police responded to the scene and rescued the motorcycle rider who sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.
