North Park, California (September 30, 2021) – A woman was taken to a hospital after being involved in a in North Park late Wednesday night, the police said.

Shortly before 11 p.m. September 29, police said a 37-year-old woman was riding a motorcycle westbound in the 2600 block of University Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle that made a turn onto eastbound University Avenue from Oregon Street.

The rider of the motorcycle was taken to a hospital with a broken leg. Police said the woman's injuries were non-life-threatening.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was uninjured.
