One Killed, One Injured in San Jacinto Crash on State Street near Community College Drive
San Jacinto, California (October 8, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle collision in San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
At 6:18 p.m. Thursday, October 7, emergency personnel responded to the 1500 block of State Street near Community College Drive to investigate the report of a traffic crash.
Authorities said two vehicles collided on State Street under unclear circumstances.
Deadly 2-Car Crash on State Street
One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated by firefighters. A total of two people were injured in the crash.
Sadly, one victim, whose has not been disclosed pending family notification, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second patient was taken to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
