1 Killed in San Jacinto Big Rig Crash on Soboba Road near Gilman Springs Road
San Jacinto, California (April 7, 2022) – A Thursday morning crash in San Jacinto left one person dead and a big rig overturned and blocking the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck occurred at about 9:51 a.m. on Soboba Road, near Gilman Springs Road and Golden Era Golf Course.
As per the CHP report, a big rig with a shipping container collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances. The semi overturned onto its side, blocking both traffic lanes.
First responders pronounced one person in the sedan dead at the scene.
No other details were available, but an investigation is ongoing.
