At Least 1 Injured in San Jose Crash on Interstate 680 near Capitol Expressway
San Jose, California (January 23, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 680 in San Jose early Saturday morning, according to California Highway Patrol.
Just after 12 a.m. January 22, a tan Ford Taurus and another vehicle collided on the northbound side of I-680, just north of the Capitol Expressway.
One of the vehicles reportedly spun out and slammed into the sound wall.

At least one party sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital by the responding medics.
The northbound lanes of I-680 were closed following the collision.
The CHP is handling the investigation.
