Cyclist Killed in San Jose Bicycle Accident on Bascom Avenue near Interstate 880 Ramp
San Jose, California (November 29, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed Monday morning in a traffic accident in San Jose, authorities said.
According to the San Jose police, the deadly bicycle collision happened at around 10:18 a.m. on Bascom Avenue near the San Jose-Santa Clara border.
The bicyclist collided with a vehicle on Bascom Avenue near the Interstate 880 ramp, the San Jose police reported.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Police determined that the driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.
