1 Hospitalized after Interstate 280 Crash near Highway 101 in San Jose
San Jose, California (December 29, 2021) – One person was hospitalized Tuesday morning following a three-vehicle collision in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The major injury crash happened at around 4:16 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, on Interstate 280, just north of Highway 101.
CHP said three vehicles, including a pickup truck, collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The pickup truck sustained major damage due to the impact of the collision.

One person was taken to a hospital with major injuries. The name of the patient and their condition were not immediately available.
The northbound lanes of Interstate 280 were shut down due to the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
