At Least 1 Suffers Major Injuries in San Jose Car Crash on Highway 87 near Taylor Street On-Ramp
San Jose, California (February 6, 2022) – At least one person was hospitalized with major injuries after a car collision that happened Saturday night in San Jose, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident was reported just after 10 p.m. on northbound Highway 87, just south of the Taylor Street on-ramp.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of them overturned on the right-hand shoulder.
San Jose firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene. The firefighters blocked the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes to allow a rescue operation.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
All lanes were reopened after about one hour.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
