Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in San Leandro Accident on Interstate 880 near Lewelling Boulevard
San Leandro, California (April 1, 2022) – Major injuries were reported in a San Leandro motorcycle accident that took place on Interstate 880 Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened just north of Lewelling Boulevard at around 6:27 p.m. March 31.
According to the report, a motorcycle and a silver 2000 Volkswagen Golf were involved in the incident.

The vehicles crashed on the southbound side of I-880.
The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The other motorist remained at the scene after the collision.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
