At Least 1 Injured in San Miguel Truck Crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Camp Roberts

San Miguel, California (October 24, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a crash involving a big rig in San Miguel on Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck happened on U.S. Highway 101 (El Camino Real), near Camp Roberts at around 4:33 a.m. October 23.
According to CHP, a Chevrolet pickup collided with a semi truck hauling diesel on the northbound side of the highway.
The big rig became disabled near the railroad tracks following the collision.

One person was found to have sustained major injuries in the crash.
It's unclear whether other parties involved in the collision were hurt.
No further details were released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
