The CHP said a silver Honda Civic was traveling west when it rear-ended a Mazda SUV and overturned

Marin County, Calif. – A San Rafael woman was killed in a collision on Sunday night in Marin County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred on the westbound side of the bridge just before 8 p.m. December 17.
The CHP said a silver Honda Civic was traveling west when it rear-ended a Mazda SUV and overturned.
A passenger in the Honda, a 19-year-old San Rafael woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Honda, a 20-year-old San Rafael man, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The CHP is investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
