Sandra Conway Among 2 Killed in Bakersfield Collision at Herring and Old River Roads
Bakersfield, California (February 25, 2022) – Sandra Gayle Conway, 37, of Moreno Valley was among two people who were killed in a collision between a semi-truck and a black sedan last month south of Bakersfield, according to the Kern County Coroner's Office.
The crash happened on Herring and Old River roads at around 3:55 a.m. February 25.
Authorities said a 2022 Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and drove into the path of a 2015 International 2 Axle tractor, leading to the collision.

Conway was a passenger in the Nissan, which was being driven by Andrew John Czarny, 35, of Riverside.
The two were killed in the accident.
Another passenger in the Nissan, Ton Eggleston, 41, of Riverside, was taken to a hospital with major injuries.
The driver of the truck, Bogar Beltran Lopez, 37, of Earlimart, was not injured.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
