At Least One Hospitalized after 55 Freeway Accident
Santa Ana, California (February 8, 2022) – At least one person was sent to a hospital following a Tuesday morning car crash in Santa Ana, a local news source reported.
The 8:56 a.m. collision happened on the southbound Costa Mesa (55) Freeway at Dyer Road.
According to the local news report, a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound on 55 Freeway when, for an unknown reason, it veered into the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes, where it collided with a Jeep.
The Jeep flipped onto its side after the collision. Good Samaritan stopped to help the female driver in the Jeep.
Authorities said at least one patient was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center in unknown condition.
