Bicyclist Injured in Collision at Embarcadero del Mar and Picasso Road in Isla Vista
Santa Barbara, California (October 14, 2021) – A bicyclist was injured after being hit by a car near Isla Vista in Santa Barbara County on Wednesday afternoon.
The bicycle accident happened at about 5:09 p.m. October 13, at Embarcadero del Mar and Picasso Road.
The California Highway Patrol said a bicycle was traveling in the area and was hit by a car in unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist was injured in the accident and was transported to Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Information about the involved motorist was not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
