4 People Injured, 3 Seriously in Santa Barbara Crash on Highway 154 near Foxen Canyon Road
Santa Barbara, California (April 17, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning traffic accident that left four people injured, three seriously, in Santa Barbara.
The major injury accident occurred at about 10:49 a.m. on Highway 154 near Foxen Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by a 69-year-old driver from Los Olivos, was headed westbound on Highway 154 when it veered into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer.
The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 37-year-old from San Francisco with two passengers, was headed eastbound on the highway.
4 Injured in Highway 4 Crash
Four people were injured, with at least three suffering from major injuries. They were all taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
