Child, Adult Injured in Santa Clarita Crash on Interstate 5 near Magic Mountain Parkway
Santa Clarita, California (December 18, 2021) – A child and an adult were hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a multi-vehicle collision in Santa Clarita, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pileup crash occurred at around 3:11 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near Magic Mountain Parkway.
CHP said five vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of the interstate.
Multi-Vehicle Crash in Santa Clarita Sends 2 To Hospital
First responders found a child with a nose bleed and an adult suffering from minor injuries. Both patients were then transported to a local hospital.
The No. 1 and 2 lanes of the interstate were closed due to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
