A westbound 2018 Honda Civic veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle killing a female passenger in the Honda
Ventura County, Calif. – A 29-year-old Santa Clarita woman is dead and two drivers seriously injured following a head-on traffic collision on Highway 126 in Santa Paula, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reportedly, a 35-year-old Santa Clarita man was driving a 2018 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 126, when for some reason, the Honda veered into oncoming traffic on the eastbound side and collided head-on with a 1999 Ford F-150 pickup truck being driven by a 44-year-old Fillmore man.
A passenger in the Honda, identified only as a 29-year-old Santa Clarita woman, was killed in the incident. Firefighters extricated both drivers before transporting them to Ventura County Medical Center with major injuries.

Ventura County, Calif. – One person was killed in a head-on collision near Santa Paula on Wednesday morning.
The fatal crash happened around 8:36 a.m. on Highway 126 near Boosey Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black Honda Civic and a Ford F-150 pickup truck collided head-on in unclear circumstances. One person was trapped in the truck while two occupants were trapped in the sedan.
CHP reports that at least one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
