4 Hurt in Friday Evening Santa Monica Car Crash on 4th Street near Broadway

Santa Monica, California (April 3, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a fiery multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday evening in Santa Monica, as per a local news source.
The incident occurred at about 6:30 p.m. on 4th Street between Broadway and Colorado Avenue.
The collision involved four vehicles, including a Tesla.
According to police, one of the cars was exiting a parking garage when it collided with another vehicle, and then the other two were involved.
The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles and were able to get out of the cars before emergency crews responded.
Two cars caught fire, but the emergency crews were able to douse the flames.
Paramedics treated the drivers at the scene and transported one of them to the hospital as a precaution.
The area remained closed as investigators worked the scene.
