1 Person Hospitalized after Santa Paula Crash on Highway 126 near Briggs Road

Santa Paula, California (October 24, 2021) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning in Santa Paula, authorities said.
The accident occurred at about 7:53 a.m., on October 20, on westbound Highway 126, just west of Briggs Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a blue Tesla collided with another vehicle on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Following the collision, the Tesla reportedly flipped over and landed on its roof. The Tesla sustained significant damage on its roof due to the crash impact.

One person sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patient was taken to Santa Paula Hospital for treatment.
Traffic on westbound lanes of Highway 126 was shut down near Briggs Road due to the mishap.
