Santa Rosa Accident at Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue Sends 2 to Hospital

Santa Rosa, California (September 20, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision at an intersection in Santa Rosa Sunday afternoon.
The two-vehicle accident took place in the area of Fourth Street and Brookwood Avenue at about 6:53 p.m. on September 19.
The accident involved at least three vehicles that crashed at the intersection after one of the southbound cars failed to stop at a red light.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles overturned about three times, and two persons were pinned inside.
Another party was reportedly trapped inside the other automobile.

Two of the extricated victims sustained minor to moderate injuries and were rushed to an area hospital for medication.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
