The MCSO said Raymond Sampaga, 47, was heading west on Hunt Highway when he went across the centerline and crashed head-on with an oncoming SUV that was driven by Taylor Stithem, 33.

Chandler, Ariz. – Sara Papila, 36, was one of the two people killed in head-on crash in Chandler on Thursday night, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said.
The crash happened on Hunt Highway and McQueen Road at around 10:15 p.m. January 18.
The MCSO said Raymond Sampaga, 47, was heading west on Hunt Highway when he went across the centerline and crashed head-on with an oncoming SUV that was driven by Taylor Stithem, 33.
Stithem and his passenger, Sara Papila, were both killed in the accident.
Sampaga was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
According to the report, Sampaga is believed to have had a medical episode just prior to the crash.
The collision is under investigation.
