Savaii Seau ID'd as Man Killed in Lakeside Accident on Los Coches Road near Lakeview Road
Lakeside, California (February 2, 2022) – The man who was killed in a car crash near Lakeside on Tuesday afternoon has been identified as Savaii Seau, 56, of El Cajon according to a local news source.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, on Los Coches Road near Lakeview Road.
Savaii was reportedly driving a 2005 Audi A6 north on Los Coches Road when he drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Helix Water District dump truck driven by a 60-year-old San Diego man.

Savaii was rushed to a trauma center, where he was pronounced deceased.
A 42-year-old woman in the Audi and the driver of the dump truck were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries.
The crash remained under investigation.
