Scooter Rider Hurt in Discovery Bay Accident on Newport Drive and Worthing Way
Discovery Bay, California (June 11, 2022) – One person was injured in a scooter crash on Thursday afternoon in Discovery Bay, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened at around 1:15 p.m. on June 9, in the area of Newport Drive and Worthing Way.
A female scooter rider was traveling in the area when she was hit by a silver Honda Civic.
The woman sustained major injuries in the accident.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
