Minor Injuries Sustained in Dixon Big Rig Crash at Robben Road and Midway Road
Dixon, California (June 24, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that happened Thursday morning in Dixon involving a semi-truck that ran a stop sign.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 11:13 a.m. at Robben Road and Midway Road.
CHP said the driver of a semi-truck entered the intersection after failing to observe a stop sign and struck a Chevrolet Suburban driving at the corner. The SUV overturned onto its roof.
The SUV was occupied by two adults and two children at the time of the wreck. All the occupants were conscious and breathing but needed an ambulance to respond for the minor injuries they sustained. It was not clear if anyone was hospitalized.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
