At Least 1 Hospitalized with Major Injuries after Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 15 in San Diego
San Diego, California (June 16, 2022) – At least one person was sent to the hospital with serious injuries sustained in an early Thursday morning San Diego motorcycle crash on Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at about 12:13 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Poway Road and Rancho Penasquitos Boulevard.
The incident involved a motorcycle and another car.
First responders found at least one person with serious injuries. The patient was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment.
The Nos. 3, 4, and 5 lanes remained blocked for an unknown period following the accident.
